Knowing that they’d disobeyed God, Adam and Eve hid from Him (Genesis 3:8–10).They would not escape the consequences of their disobedience. They had to leave the home that God fashioned for them and be subject to the chaos of the midbar. But ahead of locking the gates behind the man and woman, God used animal skins to fashion clothes to cover their nakedness. To cover their shame (Genesis 3:21–24). In the same way the animal in the garden lost its life to cover the shame of the man and woman, Christ gave up His life to cover our shame (Romans 10:11, 1 Peter 2:24).
