The Wilderness of Waiting — Genesis 15:1–6, Genesis 21:1–7

God declared to Abram that His descendants would be so numerous that not even the stars that sprinkle the sky would be able to surpass their number (Genesis 15:2-3). Yet, He and his wife, Sarai, felt stuck in the wilderness of waiting. Finally, God gives them a son and, through that son, God has given us His. We are the living, breathing manifestations of God’s promise to Abraham. More and more of us are added to its number as many flock to Jesus for salvation. If God is still delivering on the promise He made to Abraham, will He not also keep His promises to you?
